I am looking for a new video card for my G4 Tower. I am looking for a card that will support dual dvi monitors. I am looking for a good inexpensive card to do this, and was wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a card.

Looks like sinclair_tm is right. You have to mod the card coming from a G5 to work in a G4.

My friend is looking to get rid of a Radeon 9650 that he had in his G5 (the one that came with it) and I was wondering are there any issues using this in a G4 1gig? It is the card that came with his system. I just want to make sure that if he takes the time to ship it to me it will work.

Does anyone know of a good website to get older Mac Specs? I have a MDD G4 1.25 gig single processor machine, and I want to get the orginal apple specs for it, but I am not sure where to go. I was hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction. Thanks

Sorry but I am having an issue with this one. I go to open with -- other -- then select VNC, but I do not see a change all button. I am using OSX 10.3.9.

Is there a program out there that will convert an avi file to an mpeg2 file format keeping all aspect ratios from the avi file? I want to convert some avi's that I have and then when they are in the mpeg format pull them to my TiVo. Any help would be great!

On File associations how do you change them for an entire extension not just a single file? I want to change .avi to launch VLC instead of QuickTime. I know how to change file by file, but how do I change the association for all .avi to use VLC as the default app? Thanks for any help

I am thinking of switching my G4 over to SATA. Does anyone know of a good SATA card that wouldn't break the bank? I am looking for one that will be easy to boot from. I am currently running OSX 10.3.9 on my G4, but someday I will upgrade to Tiger so I would like it to support both OSes...
