This would be a most useful feature - direct ftp rather than through a client
like transmit or fetch.
And rather than just more eye candy stuff - they need to sort out 'mail' and the way it handles vector eps files - it just seems to hang when it tries to display them.
Same here, entourage is the best mail app ive found. I do use mail, but i find it doesn't behave very well with attachments (particularly eps files, which it tries to convert to pdf and usually hangs). This makes it unusable for work, so i tend to just use if for personal stuff. Its also not...
I'd go for the cube, without a doubt. You CAN upgrade them, ive heard of a 1.8ghz G4 upgrade you can get. They are much more of a collectors item, a beautiful bit ok kit. If you decide to get the G4 tower, I'll have the cube, no worrys.
What G5 is it? I know there were some problems with 1.6ghz and 1.8ghz single processor models. Might need a firmware update with regard to the fans.

Hello there. I've had this problem for a while - whenever i receive a .eps file as an email atachment, mail just hangs as it appears to be trying to convert he .eps into .pdf. I then have to force quit.
Is there a way round this? doesn't matter if i cant see the files in mail, i just want to...
Ive just got a macbook, and the 23 cinema works fine with it- you can arrange and swap just the same as you could on the powerbook. The cable costs £15.
I got the white one cos they didnt have a black one!! No, seriously though, its a bit of a joke charging an extra £120 squids, when you don't even get a black adaptor. Still, the 2.0ghz white one would still be cheap at £1, 020.
