I like the Mail.app alot!
One suggestion.
When I read my inbox I naturally start at the top and as I read mail I either file it in a folder or delete it, then move on to the next message , ie moving down the list. Outlook express works well with this habit of mine because when I press delete...
The clock and pram reset is no surprise at all considering
that the battery has been completely discharged.
The real issue that I was pointing out and would still like
some answer on is that sleeping under MacOS X consumes the
battery so much faster. Under 9 I could leave it asleep...
Actually mine is set to thousands.
After changing it to millions it still is pink.
I do have a second monitor, an apple display, also set
to thousands. It looks the same on either display.
I also saved the email to an rtf file and opened it in TextEdit, same problem. I then grabbed one of...
Emails received from Apple eNews
(apple_enews@applenews.lists.apple.com)
do not display correctly in the Apple supplied Mail
application in the public beta.
All of the included images appear at the correct size
and location but are solid pink.
They look fine in Outlook Express run in Classic.

sleep for several days and only loose a small charge. Now
after a days sleep on battery it will fully discharge the
battery and crash, resetting the clock. It sure...
I love the quick sleep and wake up, but it has a few
problems.
Using a PowerBook 2000 model (firewire) 500Mhz.
If I plug in a usb mouse (yes, the puck) I loose all
keyboard response. The mouse and the trackpad both still
work but the keyboard does not respond. Removing the mouse...

I had previously installed AW6 on OS9 and upgraded it to 6.0.4. When I installed X beta, I simply double clicked a AW document and up it came in a fully carbonized configuration. Generally works well.
A couple of problems:
Find (cmd-F) crashes the app. X is still alive.
Check...
