So the cd drive on my powerbook g4 rejects dl disks. Usually it will finally reject the dvd a few times, and then it will mount it. But when i made a back up of my leopard disk for a fresh install on my powerbook it rejects the dvd and wont mount... and ideas on why, or how i can fix it? Thanks...
i'll be honest my suggestion would be to get rid of clearwire... I had clearwire and had nothing but issues with is, it's slower than a dsl or cable connection, about as expensive, and a way larger pain in the ass
Okay so I had downloaded little snitch to check it out and couldn't stand it so I deleted it, HOWEVER the icon is still up top on my tool bar and every once in awhile it still pops up asking if I want to allow or block a connection. How can I fix this... it's thoroughly annoying and I can't get...
check all firewall settings that might exist on your network, that would be the easiest fix... if there is no firewall I would try resetting network settings on your iphone and trying again, if that doesn't work do a hard reset (hold power button and home button until you see the apple logo...
IDK exactly what you are doing wrong... I had some issues with mac the ripper files as well, but when it comes to toast i found it was easiest to burn an .avi file. When I started the movie as an .avi file toast converted it into video ts file
So I have burned two different .avi videos using Toast Titanium 10 Pro and each one says that there is no video file present when I try to play them with DVD player, but yet they play on my buddies mac running the same version of leopard and they also play on my brothers pc with windows media...
it's the powermac g4 mirrored door... 1.25 ghz processor gig of ram. leopard 10.5.7. the hd is set up in a spot under my combo drive... when I put it in where the original hd is it wouldn't boot up at all. i formatted to to mac os x journaled. and we have also ms/dos fat 32
So I put a second hard drive into my powermac to obviously gain some more space. When I boot up my mac it will show the hd on the desktop and it will also allow me to format it through disk utilities, but once it is done it says that the hd has no space... Get Info shows 0 kb out of 0 kb. Any...
i forgot to mention that it isn't read by my buddies powermac either? I will check my cables, thank you... dvd burners are too expensive anyway on new egg =)
So I have an IDE DVD burner that I have inserted into my powermac G4. It has been taken out of a windows computer. The drive seems to work well other than when I burn a disc it tells me that it failed... However the disk works just fine. Thats not the issue the issue is the input output error...
