The last time I did this was outlook 2011 first came out.
I've tried it again and the link and my earlier instructions no-longer work...... but I did find another way to do it.
Create a folder on the desktop called it inbox then highlighted all the contents of your inbox within Outlook and...

Outlook 2011 emails can be imported into OS X Mail by using the import feature within mail by selecting files in mbox format, now point to the outlook mailstore 2011 it should be in your users folder documents and Microsoft User Data.

You'll need to change some setting on your works router!
Install logmein free on the work machine and you'll be able to access the machine anywhere you have an internet connection. Plus it will be much easier then opening ports on your router.

Does this user have sub folders within the inbox ?
If so try moving these out of the inbox.
If possible try moving all emails out of the inbox to another folder.
If you created an Open Directory on the server you should hopefully have a Directory Administrator (diradmin) account.
Try to login with this account as this will have admin rights.
When you setup the password in the Airport Utility select Base Station in the menu bar and select Equivalent Network Password.
Make a note of the WPA pre-shared key and type this in on the PC this should get you connected.
If you drop in to the terminal and type host and the fqdn of the server do you get an ip address back if you do try typing the host and the ip address to see if this finds the server.

you should see a result similar to below

How full is your drive ?
Sometimes you cant partition the drive due to the lack of space.
If you have plenty of space it might be worth running something like iDefrag http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16819
Personally I'd reformat the drive and start from scratch.
