Have you tried a CD-to-CD copy utility like DAO? I don't have a CD-burner for my Mac, but in my PC I use CDrWin to copy CD's exactly. It works also for Macintosh CD's (Windows can't read that filesystem) and maybe also for Mac OS X, because it copies just every sector.

Yes, but PD asks with how much ram the system won\'t go faster anymore. I think 192 is a lot of RAM, enough for doing the normal things. Going to 384 MB RAM (a very big upgrade) only makes sense when you do extreme things like very heavy games, heave development work or big graphics...

Yes I think that will work. In that situation you have 3 OS-es installed and with the bootdisk control panal you can switch between the different operatingsystems. Mac OS 8.6 won't integrate with OS X so OS X will use 9 when you run a classic application from it ... but you can still use...

But that means that Mac OS X can't communicate with computers that have filesharing though AppleTalk, for example Macs with older Mac OS-es. If you can't use AppleTalk to access files on other Macs, why is there a tab "AppleTalk" in the network control panel?
