I am using outlook to access my work emails only. I don't have any other profile set up. And just a reminder, its not quitting outlook and restarting that loses the profile, its rebooting the mac, then I need to re-enter the account settings, so it seems like it's not "remembering" the profile...
Thanks for your replies. All software is up to date. There is no default profile there either. Its the full paid version of outlook, not a trial. I've only recently added the account to be able to access work emails from home.
As the title says, whenever I reboot my mbp, outlook "loses" the information and I need to add the account details again. It does seem though that the mailbox and folders are "hidden" somewhere though, because once I've added the account info, the messages re-appear very quickly, in fact a lot...
Update from me here. Since updating to Mavericks, all is now rosy in the sleeping and waking garden, so it was obviously a software issue. Hope that helps anyone else with this issue.
Thanks to all for their inputs
update. Tried connecting MBP with a friends TBD with the same result. So I deduce that it is an issue with the laptop, not the display. Anyone know of a "script" or automator activity that may reboot the thunderbolt port after waking from sleep ? Seems a bit convoluted but if this at all...
I need to test the MBP with another TBD to see if it's
A) The display (if its the display then Apple will repair once Ive bought the extended applecare)
B) The cable ( I can get a new one)
C) if it works fine on another display then its probably a laptop issue and thats something I may have to...
Delta Mac, I just got round to re installing Mountain Lion. No change to the not waking from sleep issue. Any other ideas or have we run out of options now ???
Thanks
OK, I'll consider the fusion drive later on. I think I should do it though as I have duplicates all over the place as I'm concerned if I delete too much I may well delete the wrong thing !! When it comes to swapping the drives round, is it just a screwdriver job ? As I mentioned I currently...
OK, understand re the space not being enough to worry about. When it comes to swapping them round, do I just take it apart, swap them round and thats it ? Or is there more to it than meets the eye. If I go the fusion drive route, would you still recommend swapping them ? I found an instruction...
MBP 13" early 2011. Last year I bought an SSD and changed out my optical drive for a (an?) SSD. Used CCC to transfer programs apps etc. onto the new SSD, set that up as the start up disk in system preferences. Question. Can I now delete OSX from the original hard drive (still in the MBP) or...
So, I've reset the PRAM, the SMC, reinstalled Mountain Lion, done the software updates, tried in the various sleep modes, manually putting to sleep, and allowing auto sleep, but still no joy.
What else can I try ?
no difference between the sleep modes, both have the same negative effect.
I'll need a quick lesson to reinstall mountain lion. Will I lose any data off my disk ? Do I need to carbon copy or super duper. or is there a "quick"way that will let me reinstall just mouton lion whilst keeping...
