hi i have a little problem in osx now had made a 3rd user for a long time. last time i deleted it in the system pref panel and all seams ok. but the folder in the users folder is still there. tread batchmod allready but the folder can't be deleted. ????

thanks for your replies i think the command line way is like these 2 apps Xoptimize or speedmeup (sth like this?!?) . let these apps run on a older version of osx . increase speed thats right. but after a few days weeks month it is still the same problem. the last what i did was an update...

sorry nothing like this. at the moment i think os9 was faster and easier to use like this one. is there any hope that apple will give an free osx 10.2 upgrade!

had the same problem. i solved it with batchmod an changing the rights! (soo owner:root: r-w-x group: unknown(!) r-w-x everyone: r-x) now you can install an channge the rights later!

hi all, have an external cd-rw (lacie) usb. so. i can burn with toast without any problems. in itunes, too. but only when i select "burn audio cd". when i select the other thing "burn as MP3 cd" my burner hangs. (light is burning for one sec and then it happens nothing) please...

it's my opinion. the best thing to open apps and files in apps is the titlebar window in os 9. it's very poor in os X that this feature dosen't exist.

i bought for some years a lacie cdrw with toast 4 for os9. so now i have osx 10.1.4 burner isn't working correctly. i need toast 5 to burn in osX or what? i've heart it would work better is there any solution to get toast 5 for free. there's no update from 4 to five?!?
