    Just finished a DVD marathon of the second series of 24... man, are they sponsored by Apple or what??!! iBooks, Powerbooks, iMacs, Powermacs, Apple Cinema displays, Mac OSX startup screen, the opening and the innards of a G4 tower. Unfortunately they have the odd Dell too :(

    Hi there my update went without a hitch on a G3/600 iMac. Have you tried repairing permissions?? It's always a good idea to do this after a software update.

    Is it possible to have 'an album within an album' on iPhoto?? I would like to organize my albums by date, so have Dec 2003, Jan 2004, Feb 2004 etc, but then within those have more specific albums, ie 'Visit to mums' or 'kids school play' etc. Cheers in advance Steven

    cocktail has a force empty trash utility. get it here http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18282 i am not familiar with the terminal but some people on this forum will be able to tell you a command line to empty trash (try searching the forums, it must've been mentioned before)

    NTL:home is my ISP on cable modem 600down, 128 up. enough for what i do. some companies do offer home users a 1mb service but its not heard of much - fryke, 2mb must scream :) maybe the uk are behind everyone else in telecommunications, some regions don't even have broadband at all yet
