Until more software is universal I will not likely be upgrading to an Intel Mac. Much like when OSX came out, it will take some time for software venders to catch up.

I've actually used iemulator on a Quicksilver G4 933. It works but is sloooow.... VPC has nothing to worry about at this point.

I've done the same basic set up as you have done on my Quicksilver 2002 G4 and my system profile reports my ATA drives attached to my ATA 133 PCI card as SCSI. I'm running Panther. Everything here works great so I don't worry about it at all.
