yes, and it doesn't see the network. I guess it's the ariel connector in the iBook.

Bought my son an Airport Extreme card for xmas for his iBook G4 (2 USB) after checking their compatability with an Apple chappie. I assume that the iBook sees the card id ok (Network Prefs /Location:Automatic Airport ID appears as 00:16:cb:f7:85:af) but it fails to see the Netgear router...

In Mail in OS X 10.4.8 on my fab Intel Macbook Pro, I see many unfamiliar names in the auto addresses which appear when I type in the first letter of the recipient. This list seems to grow without my permission. Any ideas on how I can easiliy edit this list?
