I know they haven't, but they also used a different architecture which was a bit different. With Intel and AMD turning out CPU's at a much faster rate, the competition drops their prices accordingly as the hardware ages. You look at a 5 month old Mac Pro and compare the same hardware in an HP...

We have a imac g5 w/ 1.9 ghz cpu. Recently its been experiencing banding in the display. Video playback is off too. Checked the resolution and colors -> that is correct. Connected an external monitor to it using mini vga cable, same problem. Formatted and installed OS 10.5, same problem...

Create the directory you want to mount to and it'll mount just fine...

I have a wierd issue with my mouse. I'll give a specific example that cascades to other tasks. I have safari open with tabs. I start closing tabs and then, clicking on the 'x', does nothing. I clicked 15 times and nothing. When this 'inactivity occurs', I have to slightly move the window...

3ware is actually very very good. Check out reviews on it. Its geared more for server use than desktop. They have cards that support up to 16 drives.

There's only room for one more drive in the tower besides the boot disk... So I can have the OS disk and another one. ( unless there is another free slot ) I do have to identical seagate drives. If I were to reinstall the operating system, would I be able to mirror the drives during setup?
