That was a pain in the you know what, having to navigate all those pages just to download a little piece of software. I had to make sure my old hotmail account was still active....no way i'd give out my .mac email.
In the Marketplace section of the Wall Street Journal today there is an article titled: 'Minority Report Inspires Technology Aimed at Military. They are developing technology to use your hands to navigate the computer rather than a keyboard and mouse.
After looking closely at the picture it...
Absolutely. As I said in my post above I connected my Xbox to the airport express. Connecting any device to the ethernet port will work so long as you follow the instructions in my previous post for enabling WDS on your Linksys, provided you have the correct version of the linksys router. The...
T-Mobile WiFi does have 'roaming agreements' with other WiFi providers. My father uses the service and he travels internationally. He is able to use T-Mobile's wifi in europe along with other wifi providers around the world. He told me that practically everywhere he goes he can get on for free...
Yes it is possible and I have mine set up the same way so I can stream music and hook up my xbox. I used the following website to help me. Let me know if you have any trouble. By the way the free hacked linksys firmware you will have to install only works on certain models of the linksys...
I connect my Airport Express to my Linksys WRT54G using WDS so I can stream music and plug my xbox into the ethernet port and connect to xbox live.

I do have one problem. My wife's iBook has trouble seeing the...
I added a misspelled word to the spell check for apple's Mail. Does anyone know how to remove it? I know it seems like a dumb question, but I've looked through the preferences and don't see anything. The only thing I can think of is to remove some Library file.
Thank You.
Tonight I was completely disappointed by Apple's phone tech support. On Tuesday I called because I had been having trouble with my iPod connecting to iTunes or the iPod updater. So after speaking with a support guy he immediately decides it is broken without hearing me completely out and sends a...
I've got Vonage and I love it. Even my Tivo can dial out over it. So the quality is very good. It is perfect for what it does and all for only $25 a month. I love getting my voicemail notification via email and listening to them on the web. The web interface rocks!
I know you can have...
So now the question is: will we be able to sync our photos to our old iPods?
I know, I know. You are thinking why would anyone want to view photos on a B&W screen. Well, maybe we could get the new dock and view our photos on a tv with the new cables.
Based on Apple's prior track record...
Thank you everyone for your input. Bobw, I'll check out those apps. As for the Log, I'll have to turn it on and take a look at it. I looked for the list of connected users in the Linksys admin tool and couldn't find it. I know I've seen it on another Linksys router before. I was wondering if...
I have a Linkssys Wireless Router - WRT54G. I am trying to find a way to see who is connected. I was outside with my laptop checking to see how far my connection would go. I was shocked to see that I still had 4 bars after being about 100 yards away from my house.
(I'm in a new neighborhood...
Sounds like you may need to replace the keyboard. I hope it's still under warranty. You could try taking the key off the keyboard to see if that helps. That way you can see if anything looks physically wrong. Also, try getting an external keyboard and plug it up.
The simplest option would be to purchase a Linksys or other branded wireless router. They are quite cheap and very easy to set up. However I've found setting them up with encryption can make the setup process difficult.
Much cheaper and far less time consuming than setting your XP machine...
VueScan is your best bet...however you are probably better off going out and buying a new cheap scanner.
I'm in the same boat, 3 worthless scanners, one scsi and 2 usb, and no drivers for OSX.
Why not just charge $150 or $200!!
This is rediculous! There has to be some company out there willing to produce these. Talk about profit margin....good grief!
After updating I checked out the supposed increased USB and Firewire compatibility. I have a Belkin USB 2.0 PCI card in my PowerMac G4. Since installing the card into my machine it cannot wake from deep sleep. This is a known issue with USB and Firewire PCI cards.
Anyhow, there is still no...
