When I was at school I had to specifically ask the college store to order mac software. I bet they can order it so you can get it there for educational price. Of course you could probably get it online through apple's educational store faster.

All of these articles bragging about how there are no virii for macs makes me worry. Some hackers are going, "Oh really....We'll see about that!" And viola, Macs are hit with virii. However, on the flip side there could be lots of security conscious individuals who decide, screw windows...

Open Network Utility and under info you will see the Hardware address, a.k.a. MAC address. I hope that helps.

I've got a 500mhz ibook that my wife uses. I added a 256mb chip, but plan to eventually max it to 512. RAM makes a big difference. I highly recommend maxing it out.
