yeah ive done the normal stuffs, etc. pretty soon im gonna dump preferences and see what happens, currently im using 100%cpu 100% of the time... itunes takes up typically 20-30% while playing, and ichat takes up whatever is left of cpu usage, if im just listening to music and chatting thats...

Ever Since upgrading to 10.3.3, iChat has been using 40-70% of my processor usage. Quite frankly its annoying because that combined with 30% safari and 30% iTunes, I can't get anything done... how is it an 800mhz computer cant chat, surf and listen to music at the same time without major major...

on server, server admin and workgroup manager appear a little faster

AFAIK this is normal, happens to me as well when i leave my ipod "off" for a couple days

im about to run out of space on my 30gb ipod. only 1gb of non-music on there (backup system).... and i could use more space :)

ive had good results with panther as well on two machines. only issue i have had is when i have my ipod and isight connected at the same time, transfers to the ipod freeze things up. but my solution has been to disconnect the isight. so far, so good. but it could be a hardware issue *shrugs*

octane, last i checked I, fryke, and captain code are moderators... im not of this forum, so my statement was merely an opinion based on your very very biased posts over last couple months. one could believe that youve never worked with a nt kernal based machine, and if you have, you didnt know...

you, indeed, do have issues. its funny when folks dont think for themselves, instead just slam the opposition to be "cool"

have you tried the energy saver option, sleep hard drive when possible?

seems the color and low light performance is better :) still sucks with mixtures of light sources though

i dont see it as ironic at all, ive worked for publications, and AFAIK nearly all publications are made on macs... it would be ironic say if Microsoft.com was served on osx server.. not this though, this is normal every day life.

id rather no political ads be aired either way myself... but AFAIK they are airing pro-bush ads, just not anti-bush ads, and IMHO that isnt quite fair, especially if the money and support is there.

still no word from apple on if its supported or not? what do the current g5-s use?
