I resently had the opportunity to purchase an apple lisa for a very cheap price. i was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more about it. i believe there are a couple lisa models? how much did this originally sell for? how much do they gather now? any information would be great.

I noticed today while browsing around Apple's site that they had an update for Appleworks to 6.2.2. How long has this update been avaliable and does anyone know what it does?

I just upgraded to icq 3.0b and noticed the changes mentioned aboved. I also noticed in this version u can now view others status (na,away,etc). And i also noticed a speed increase.

Anyone know what the new security updates did? I know what the ie update took care of but what was the security update? I also noticed that when i checked the build number of 10.1 it was 5L14 insted of 5G64 anyone know?

Fetch 4.0.1 works great with 10.1 i am using it right now.

Mindbend i am not sure why u are having so many problems but i have to say that 10.1 is FAST compareable to 9.2.1 apple should be proud of what they have accomplished. i agree with some of the other members have you tried a clean install?

Yes there is a antivirus for mac osx both mcafee and norton have released native apps for 10. Mcafee is virex 7.0 and i am not sure what nortons version is. Norton system works i am not sure if there is a 10 version yet but it has a defrag program.

I have a Powerbook G3 Bronzekeyboard Series with a Dvd drive. I loaded a legit copy of 10.1 and no dvd support. This works just fine in 9. I thought this model was supported and i doing something wrong? Is there a fix for this? :confused:

I also had a problem with quicken 2002 couldn't mount it though mabye it got corrupt when i downloaded it so i grabbed it again same thing. :(

I wish i could help out my boss here where i work has an ftp site that i usually get 2 to 3 meg downloads but he is a windows fan and wont post anything mac :(
