It is not that strange. I know people who have changed platforms just because there programs worked better on a Mac than a PC. Why not? Give the PC world a half-a** app and make it awesome for the Mac.

Potential for what? I agree, the iPod will never be anything more than an music player. I see a PowerPod to be a music device and more. Why not? This is all speculation anyway! However I do think there is a market for a suped-up iPod.
