    $1 a song by Apple

I'm am pretty sure that Apple will also allow you to download an entire CD... the best part of this is that it will be a bit less then going out and purchasing it from the store since... Apple will not have any overhead, the record companies need not have any fancy packaging, and lastly the...

    Safari with Tabs (v62 - v71)

Sounds good about the mouse... and then they could go a step further and have it pressure sensitive... say I have 10 pages on top of each other or am looking for a folder burried deep within a set of nested ones, the more pressure I apply downward the further and faster the cursor dives into the...

IBM new swivel monitor, is Apple next?

Well it looks like IBM is starting a new line of swivel flat panel monitors. I'm wondering if this is something Apple will start to integrate into their line in the near future. Probably wouldn't be for a while since they just came out with a new batch a few weeks back but just thinking...

    Safari with Tabs (v62 - v71)

I still thought the little hockey puck mouse was the most ergonomic for myself. If they could have made that wireless and optical it would have been perfect. I think that was the only mouse I had ever used that after 2 hours of use my wrists didn't hurt. But back to this topic, tabs...

    Macs at NASA again

Here is the link to one of the documents on what NASA is using today and platform/system minimums/new purchases. It's about a 10 page read... mostly tables... interesting read. http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/codec/codeci/ODIN/help/software/hqwsstdm.doc

    Macs at NASA again

I remember around 1999 there was talk of NASA dumping all MACs for PCs. Well, I thought that had gone through. After looking at some NASA sites and usage stats it sure looks as if Macs are doing fairly well at NASA. The only thing that is a bit upsetting is that sometime in 2000 they were...

    Safari with Tabs (v62 - v71)

Must first enable the debug menu. Then you can access the tabs feature. If you don't want tabs you don't have to have them even when they are enabled. I believe you can get a maximum of 12 tabs as of right now. Though at start they are left justified... probably should be centered. But really...

    Thoughts on Tues releases?

There is no way apple is going to bring out a new 15" powerbook when we still haven't gotten the 17" Secondly, the only way a new 15" would make it out would be with an upgraded processor, so in that case you are looking at a 15" with a 1.2ghz processor... This is not going to happen until...

    Safari with Tabs (v62 - v71)

I too must agree... I really like the tabs in Safari. That would be the last thing I would ask Apple to work on. I think Apple got a bit upset about all the work they put into the brushed metal look and how people where aquifying it (a bit odd since they also created that look, should have two...

    Safari with Tabs (v62 - v71)

I wonder what it looks like without the brush metal look... that really looks good I might have to stick with the metal look if the aqua look tabs don't cut it.

Looking for a basic Paint type programe.

I have a feeling whoever you bought it from erased the HD. Unless those are software restore disks for the emac then you won't have Appleworks on there. Install disk 2 would probably be the delveloper disk, i'm assuming.

Looking for a basic Paint type programe.

hmmm, i thought that the emac had Appleworks installed on it... strange. Is this a used or new machine?

Looking for a basic Paint type programe.

Well, the emac should have AppleWorks that has a fairly basic paint and draw program. For touchups and other effects graphic converter works wonders. Corel has some pretty inexpensive products if you don't want to spend a couple hundred on illustrator or photoshop. Two great places to look...

    10.2.4 killed ichat buddies

Well, 10.2.4 showed it's ugly face for me for the first time tonight. After asking permission to decrypt the keychain every last one of my buddies disapeared into the deep dark realm of darkness. Where oh where did my buddie(s) go. Well, most everything works well... especially love the speed...
