Yeah we've done that and it works, its just one of those odd things you want to get to the bottom off. Oh well just have to wait until it happens again (if it does) to see what we did. Cheers all Eric

Ah Well thats another problem, the transfered mail disappears when its moved to the white folder.

Hi Randman Its not the colour of the message/s its the mailbox folder colour. Normally they are the standard OS X blue but some are white/gray. Although its not a serious problem, it would be nice to know what to do/has happened. eric

Hi A work colleague has something strange (to me at least) happening with Mail. She has created some mailboxes and some of them are white, and when she has transfered mail into them using the menu, the mail messages have disappeared and she cannot undo what she has done. Much appreciated...

Hi Acheron Not sure what your trouble is with the control center, but I trashed it and installed USB Overdrive which allows you to customise the buttons and stuff for my MX 700. Its not free though, but worth it. You may want to check it out via versiontracker.com. Cheers eric

OK update Just done a few tests with toast and have come to the conclusion its the ISO 9660 format that OS X doesn't get on well with. We burnt the same information using the 'Mac Only' option in Toast both as standard and extended and the files showed up perfectly, we then did it as IS 9660...

Hi ElDiablo Interesting about the HFS+, what about CDs that were burnt using OS 8 or older as some of ours are older than OS X (and HFS +) and we still get that bizzare Unix file showing when the CD is mounted on the desktop. Its also interesting to note that its fairly random as well...
