to me, the longer it takes the better. at least we know they're not hastily letting something go without really testing it for bugs.

octane, i looked to see if you were running 10.3.3 or what, but maybe you have some sort of prefs issue borked on your machine. the 'normal' behavior for searching a selection is you can select a folder and it will search the enclosed items. maybe try renaming your finder prefs and trying...

kind of hit or miss right now. it's coming along really quickly though.

i could see iPhoto, iTunes and iMovie being free, with iDVD and Garageband being the two you have to buy to get. like last year. if not, it's only 50 bucks for a bunch of killer apps.

i've actually been buying a lot of CD's at the store again because of this. the new blink-182 album is 9.99 @ best buy, and 13.99 on the iTMS. how can the packaging, and physical media cost more? that's just insane. and this isn't a limited thing.

i preordered but i'm starting to think i'd be better off cancelling the order and just going down to the apple store friday. seems like only the people who paid for upgraded shipping are going to get theirs the day it comes out in the mail.

ordered mine too. maybe they'll ship it early, like they did for some people with 10.2 in any event - i can't wait to see all of the new features and speed increases on my TiBook

works fine for me. (w/ airport). don't really see how flash could affect wireless internet.

any update is a good update to me. looking forward to a 10.2.7 if in fact it is released. it's been a few months now since 10.2.6, so i'm sure they could have fixed a lot of little bugs since then. if we don't see panther until later in the year (november/decemberish), i think it's a given...

or perhaps green with envy ;)
