All of these articles bragging about how there are no virii for macs makes me worry. Some hackers are going, "Oh really....We'll see about that!" And viola, Macs are hit with virii. However, on the flip side there could be lots of security conscious individuals who decide, screw windows...

If you watch the panther video which is linked to from the new hompage of macosx.com it features the creator of the Alias show, another Mac head!! Maybe its because of him that the macs get screen time, not to mention the coolness and finess of a beautiful powerbook.

Anyone know how many discs come with the Family Pack? 5 sets of discs or just a single set with 5 licenses. I was thinking about splitting it with my family, but I want to keep a set of discs.

I've considered that, but I'm not willing to take the chance. For now just my Dual 1Ghz G4 has it, and on a secondary drive for that matter.

Open Network Utility and under info you will see the Hardware address, a.k.a. MAC address. I hope that helps.

I've got a 500mhz ibook that my wife uses. I added a 256mb chip, but plan to eventually max it to 512. RAM makes a big difference. I highly recommend maxing it out.

Bluetooth for your palm. Good alternative for transferring documents between two computers when no other network exists. Use your mobile phone as a wireless modem to go on the internet. There are the new bluetooth wireless Apple keyboard and mouse.

I have comcast mail and have posted in the forum regarding it before. Most recently, still today, I have been having problems with my comcast account in Mail. It's funny because only one of my accounts is affected. It works fine in Entourage, but not Mail. It's something to do with comcast...

Just another desperate idea to generate revenue for the state. If they really wanted to benefit consumers they'd make the fine payable to the consumer that was violated. :)
