Well theres nothing really wrong with it, its just setout in a way where it will take me a while to find all the features. Maybe its just a little to complicated for what i wanted.

In its defense it works much better than iListen does. Whenever i correct something iListen does wrong it never seems to learn by its mistakes.

Sorry i should have explained better. The mp3s are played through a flash player where you can select the song you want to listen to. So you cannot right click to download the files

Yer, VLC is all you need. It can open almost all types of audio and video formats.

Urm, have you ejected it using OSX? Only plug in the external after windows has loaded up and is selected. I dont think its possible to have OSX and Windows recognise the harddrive simultaneously.
