Highlite the png letteres and type in jpg. It will ask you if you want to save it as jpg; say yes and it should stay as jpg. Dickster--------------------

Gulempo--- Have you tried zapping the "pram" ? Hold down the command key -;opt key-; P and R keys while doing a restart. Let it cycle thru 3 sets of startup chimes and then release the keys and let it restart completely. this may do the trick. Good Luck! Dickster-------------------

Hellochino---reinstall iphoto from your ilife cd again and that should cure the problem. I had similar prob.; only my iphoto would not open at all. reinstall cured my prob. and all pics. were there and iphoto even worked faster. Dickster------------------
