MobileMe Mail filtering on iPad 2

It's MobileMe, which is an IMAP server.

MobileMe Mail filtering on iPad 2

I'm asking this question for my wife, who has created quite a few mailboxes and filters messages to the various boxes. She's having an issue on iPad (and now in iPad 2) that she doesn't like. I'll send her an email and she has that set to filter to a box called Family. But it doesn't go there...

Info tab on Facebook crashes Safari

I've been having Safari crashing problems, but did some work and thought I had gotten through most of them. But today, when I'm on Facebook, if I click the Info tab on someone's wall (my own or others), it crashes the browser almost instantly. Can anyone glean anything from this log...

    Repeated Safari crashes

I downloaded the Apple Security update yesterday and since then, I've had at least 15 crashes of Safari. Here is the log from the most recent one. Can anyone see what may be causing this? Thanks in advance! Process: Safari [1435] Path...

    Line through display

Thanks, DeltaMac. I'm not sure if I should be pleased or unhappy, but it passed the Disk Utility test when booted off the Snow Leopard disk and it reported no trouble when running the extended test on the AHT when booting from the restore DVD. So does this suggest software, or can there be...

    Line through display

It is horizontal, approximately mid-screen, though it will sometimes be higher or lower.

    Line through display

My iMac has recently begun to slow down frequently, where I get the spinning beach ball and can't do a thing for periods at a time. This is intermittent, but it is more and more frequent. Something I've noticed that has begun to occur around this same time is that occasionally, I'll have a...

Unable to use keyboard to boot

Wow, that didn't work, either. I had everything removed from the computer. Removed the power from the back of the iMac. Waited about a minute. Plugged power supply back in and then the keyboard (I have a Magic Mouse) and tried to zap the PR. It simply just booted up and never got the second...

Unable to use keyboard to boot

Unfortunately I don't have it. I even looked into buying one, but can't seem to find one. I have the diNovo edge keyboard and the iHome keyboard I previously mentioned and none of those work either. Very odd.

Unable to use keyboard to boot

No, no firmware password. I was 99.9 percent certain I had never set one. However, I restarted holding option as you suggested and the machine simply restarted and booked back up.

Unable to use keyboard to boot

There is a strange thing happening with my iMac. I have a Core Duo 2.0 GHz with 2GB of RAM. I'm now using the most recent Apple USB keyboard with the chicklet keys. I no longer can boot off a DVD or CD using this keyboard. Let's say I insert the install disk or the restore disk and hold down...

    Help with kernel panics

Thanks for the suggestion. I did download Mouseworks and it allowed me to uninstall right away. I've restarted and hopefully left the kernel panics behind me. Appreciate the help. Kevin

    Help with kernel panics

Interesting. But while I'm using a Kensington mouse, Mouseworks isn't installed. I looked in System Preferences and it wasn't there. Then I looked in my applications folder and nothing. And then I spotlight searched and nothing. I think I did have it installed at one point, though. Any...

    Help with kernel panics

Recently, I've been getting a lot of kernel panics. I had two this morning. Good news is I'm going to buy an i7 iMac in the next month or so. Bad news, I'd like this to quit in the mean time! I've posted the log from my most recent panic below. I'm using 10.6.2. Can anyone see anything there...

    iTunes store email

As I noted, I had done that, but it won't let me change it. It keeps giving me an error message, which I described in previous post. I don't really care which address shows in the store, but I want the receipts and what not to go to my MobileMe address. And they continue to go to my ISP address...

    iTunes store email

I want to ditch the email account I have with my ISP and use only Mobile Me. I've been successful with this in everything but the iTunes store. I am using 10.5.8 with iTunes 8.2.1 on an Intel iMac. When I'm on the store, I notice my account is [username]@ISP.com I want it to be...

    Strange issue

It is an odd thing and it seems like there should be a punch line :-) Alas, there is not. Macworks, I've tried all of those steps and nothing was there. I've never seen anything like this.

    Strange issue

I have posted this in the discussion forums at Apple and thought I'd post it here, as well. It's a strange one, indeed. I have a weird issue occurring on my iMac. I don't call it a problem, because it's not affecting my ability to use my computer, but it's definitely weird. The issue is that...

    Nano lawsuit.

Jason, I understand what the folks who are complaining about their Nanos are saying. I don't have one -- yet (hint, hint, dear wife) -- but if they're as bad as I've heard, owners have a right to be angry. But there is a large step between being angry and filing a class action lawsuit. And if...

    Nano lawsuit.

You're completely right on this point. I think the entire suit is frivolous. But even if he's correct and Apple is wrong for selling him an item that scratches, how does that justify him getting a percentage of profits? Wouldn't he be whole if they gave him his money back? This is why health...
