Hi. Is it worth swapping a g4 cube 450 to a 350 sawtooth? The only thing I want is a more powerful graphic card. And it´s pretty few cards available for the cube now... there is the radeon... but it´s disappearing from the market. But the AGP is only 2x in the sawtooth also. Not many cards...

The only thing I´m interested in is graphic power. I love the cubes silent design an I think that ONE little tiny fan on the graphic card won´t make any real difference in the sound issue. /Glenn

Yeah I know apple doesn´t produce cubes anymore... And yes you CAN install a graphic card in the cube. It´s got an AGP slot (only 2x though).

A dumb question... but is classic mode using only 256 colors? When I try to play Diablo II I run it in software mode for better performance. But it looks awful. In OS 9.1 that«s not a problem... There it looks like it should do. Any suggestions?

The thing about clusters... I thought i would combine some old macs to create a "small" supercomputer. But as i read on you have to create specific code to do that. And even if you manage to do that, there is the problem with bandwidth. Old macs simply don´t (or can´t) pass the information...
