I have checked the details. They vary from conflict to conflict, but it doesn't matter if I check one or another or resolve all the same, the warning still keeps showing up. I have tried every angle, in other words. I will try to post a screenshot the next time I get a warning.

I repeatedly get a window stating there are conflicts syncing Mail accounts. No matter if I change any info or just click sync, it always comes back asking the same thing. There must be something to trash to make this go away.

An Apple announcement won't stop coming into my mac Mail account. I erased 485 of them this morning and they keep filing up the mailbox. There must be something to trash that will stop this behavior.

Thanks for helping. I just got Safari back. The Proxy in Network/Advanced was clicked on. Now this shows up. BTW, I have never touched these settings. They just appeared. Do they look correct?

I can't connect to the internet with Safari, but I can with Firefox, and I can receive Mail on my home iMac. Network says I am connected, but my menu bar app says I'm not. I am posting this remotely from my MacBook, so I can connect to my home computer. B2MM and Screen Sharing are working, but...

Does the DVD play on the MacBook monitor, and not on the TV monitor? Yes Are you using mirroring mode, or extended desktop mode? I think I was in mirror because there were two screen in each Spaces area. Can you see the OS X desktop on the TV? Yes. I was using it as a monitor.

Yes, I changed it to VGA/Composite and got the TV as a monitor, but still can't seem to get a movie to play from the DVD.

......some music from iTunes. One album won't open in the remote speakers and insists on playing through the iMac instead. I have tried reimporting the music and redid the AirTunes setup, but no go. It's just one album of songs out of 8000 that doesn't work. Frustrating.

Time Machine has stopped backing up my iMac. I have gotten this window every hour for the last two days:

..............and I am unable to run Software Update since the update. It won't start from the Apple menu at all and is grayed out in About This Mac. This only happened on the iMac, not the MacBook.
