    OS X Resolution

I use OS X Server, so i'm not sure if it is the same...but you might need to deselect "Show modes recommended by display". You'd also probably want to choose the highest refresh rate avaliable for whichever resolution you use (be sure to change the refresh rate after you change the resolution).

    10.1.3 and Local Networking

I've had similar problems after upgrading to 10.1.3. The solution, don't upgrade! It's horrible! I don't know if it's possible to uninstall 10.1.3, although i doubt it and will probably have to reinstall the system. Stick with 10.1.2 and wait until the next upgrade comes along.

    OSX server 10.1.3 and GNAT

I concur, you don't really need GNAT. Actually, GNAT is gone, it is now owned by Sustainable Softworks and known as IPNetShareX. As for your web server, have you checked the configuration of the "Web Service" in the server admin? I found that after I upadated OS X Server, that I needed to...

    Booting from CD

Yes, I have had a similar problem, but with 10.1. Even after i upgraded to 10.1.2, it still would not boot from any CD or change the startup disk. The only way I was able to fix this was to physically disconnect the hard drive OS X was installed on, and force the computer to look for another OS...

    Accessing from PC

I have got my Mac OS X Server 10.1 machine running Windows services and am able to access it from my PC, but I can't seem to be able to be able to login as guest. I think I have the guest access turned on in the Server Admin, but I doesn't seem to make a difference. Specifically, I would like to...

    Removing programs

I'd like to know how to completely remove programs in Mac OS X. For instance, I have no use for iMovie, iTunes, Mail, etc. and would like to know how to remove them completely. Would simply deleting the package in the Applications folder do the job? Back when I was using Mac OS 9, I knew pretty...

Mac OS X in Linux Lan or Windows Lan

No. It's made by Miramar Systems. You could also you microsoft's appletalk services, but I believe they only allow your mac to access the PC and not visa versa, but at least it's free.

Mac OS X in Linux Lan or Windows Lan

If you still can't get it working, you could also use PC MacLan. It needs to be installed on the PC, and will allow the PC to act as a file server on an appletalk network (it also has several other networking features).
