As unlikely as it is to happen Apple should hop in bed with Sony too. Imagine all Vaio's shipping with iTunes and Sony offering AAC compatible players. Vaio's are the Macs of the Windows world.

I like the idea. Perhaps Apple is already thinking about it, hence the need to develop a browser like Safari in the first place.

I'm running 10.2.5 and in the last week or so, I have been getting screen corruption ? What gives? :( --- Repair permissions done a few times. Seems to be linked to 10.2.5 upgrade.

Are you on a network? Sometimes the network connections screw up and the Mac never stops looking for the network (spinning beachball cursor). I avoid it by religiously "unmounting" any network drives and switching off the airport card when I put the Mac to sleep.

CUPS is awesome and I am using gimp-print to print over my wireless network via print server. That I can do this at all with a printer that does not have OS X drivers is a miracle. Unfortunately, big-ish print jobs (~100 PDF pages) 1) take forever and 2) crash my system (full lock-up)...
