After removing all the Microsoft stuff that was installed by default - Spotlight now likes to launch iTunes when I select a folder. I notice that all my file associations are all over the place - how can I fix this? - it may solve the problem? :(

Deleting Entourage doesn't help - instead of dropping in the the folder - nothing happens . . . . any help at all?

Hi all, since upgrading my Macs from Panther to Tiger - I must manually select the shared printer after every reboot. Under Panther, my mac would remember to look for the shared printer (rendezvous) but under Tiger (bonjour) it defaults to no printer installed. anyone know how to fix...

Hmmm, when I click on a folder after a spotlight search in the results window- it launches the trial version Entourage - any way to stop this besides deleted Entourage which I don't use anyway so don't know why I haven't already deleted it <marvin> :rolleyes:

You don't even need Stuffit to create archives - you can make .zip files right in the finder. <control> click on the file you want to archive and choice "create archive of..." in the resulting contextual menu that pops up. Decompressing is just a matter of double clicking on your .zip file

Hmmm... how can I use Jaguar's internet sharing to do port forwarding... is there a way to get at "extra configs" or something. My ISP blocks :80, so under OSX 10.1.5 and OS 9 I was able to forward port 8001 and all was cool... just can't see how this is done under Jag Any clues?

Thanks davidbrit2 I guess I just wanted to make sure I hadn't screwed up anything in my installation. Glad to know the script is the same, interesting to note that it still exists on my iMac after an "update" install - just not on the G4 after a clean install.
