    After removing all the Microsoft stuff that was installed by default - Spotlight now likes to launch iTunes when I select a folder. I notice that all my file associations are all over the place - how can I fix this? - it may solve the problem? :(

    You don't even need Stuffit to create archives - you can make .zip files right in the finder. <control> click on the file you want to archive and choice "create archive of..." in the resulting contextual menu that pops up. Decompressing is just a matter of double clicking on your .zip file

    Thanks davidbrit2 I guess I just wanted to make sure I hadn't screwed up anything in my installation. Glad to know the script is the same, interesting to note that it still exists on my iMac after an "update" install - just not on the G4 after a clean install.
