ok, my mac is a G5 PowerPC,but can i change it to Intel based? I've heard that the OS after leopard might not work, anything that can do this? also, i might be chatting absolute rubbish, so tell me if i am!

1. No you have to buy a new Intel Mac.
2. Leopard will run on a PowerPC Mac with no problem. Just when installing it do an Archive and install process. Plus delete any Application Enhancer before installing. It is messes up Leopard.
3. Yep, you are talking rubbish (that is a joke). I urge you to get a book, from New York Times reporter David Pogue , called Mac OS X Leopard: The Missing Manual. It is an easy read and it will give you good knowledge of OS X and is a great reference book.

Reboot from your Leopard Install DVD. When asked for the destination volume, check under the "Options" for installation types. There you will find installation options and types.
