ChickenInvaders Issue

Somehow, I have gotten a .dmg file in my Mac that keeps trying to open and take over with repeated requests to open it so that I have to force quit the whole computer to get away from it.

In doing a search in Finder, I cannot find this file to get rid of it. Can anyone help me seek and destroy this file? It says it is a Document;
http://69.41.161.139:10080 and goes by the name of ChickeninvadersUOinstaller416.dmg and it's 19.4MB. None of these identifiers help my Finder find it and a Google search yields no results also.

Sure would appreciate some insight on this! Thanks!

Did you still want the game "Chicken Invaders" ? (Did you download it so you could purchase it for your own use?)

That http://69.41.161.139:10080 takes you to a login window. The .dmg is for the full install (the commercial game for Chicken Invaders)
You have to purchase that game before you can use it. The installer (I think) simply allows you to run the game. Once you have purchased that game, it should let you log in (and solve your problem), and then let you play that game.
More info at the site for the various Chicken Invaders games, plus some others.

Another way to find an app that launches, is that it will show up in your dock. Right-click on the icon for the game in your dock, and choose "Show in Finder". You may need to go to right-click options to see that choice, depending on what version of OS X you are running. That choice will take you to the app, and you can then remove it if you don't want the game at all.

Also make sure you go into Safari's Preferences and most definitely uncheck "Open"safe" after downloading!

Lastly make sure a Trojan hasn't put anything in System Preferences->Accounts (User & Groups in 10.8.x), Login Items and make sure the program is not starting at login. Plus in System Preferences->Network, Advanced button, DNS mini-tab and make sure you are using your own DNS.

Thankyou for your suggestions. I do NOT want this app on my computer so will take your advice to get rid of it.
I appreciate your counsel!
Right now I'm on vacation for 2 weeks and can't attend to it till my return but will definitely get on it right away then!
