Controlling audio from all apps independently

Hi all, I want to be able to run a simple application that has a volume level for all running applications so I can control them independently. I currently use Audio Hijack Pro for recording streams but there is no mixer within it.

Any ideas? Many thanks in advance...
 
What do mean about controlling the level? The over all volume or adding a a mixer to all your system volume?
 
Imagine I have say 5 applications running. iChat, Firefox, Skype, iTunes, EyeTV, I'd like an application in the background I can call up whenever to adjust the levels of each app seperately...
