cleo has asked a ton of questions about iPhone usage, so I'm betting that the question is about cut and paste on an iPhone.

Look in your Edit menu.
Simply:
select the text or graphic of your choice.
Choose Cut or Copy (whichever you need to do.), then move your mouse/cursor to your destination, and choose Paste. It's all in your Edit menu, or you can do the shortcuts from your keyboard, or right (control)-click, and choose your selection from the contextual menu. Or, some other process that will transfer your object to the clipboard for your use somewhere else.
