Finder list view

In my standard account, the finder list view is striped, with alternate lines being white and light grey. In my admin account, that view has a solid white background. How did that happen? How would I get the Finder to look the same in the admin account as in the standard account?

First go to the folder /YourHard/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and find the file com.apple.finder.plist . Put that file in your Trashcan but don't delete it just yet.

Then in your Dock, hold down your 'option/alt' ket and click on the Finder Dock icon. Then choose "Relaunch".

See after doing this would fix your problem. Good Luck.

That did not work. I still have a solid white background in the list view.

What did you do make that look in your Admin account because that condition is not ordinary?

In the "Preferences" or "View Options," have you set a background image or solid color for the background of Finder windows?

Not sure if that applies to "List" view, but it's a starting point.

No, someone else told me that it was Universal Access > Enhance Contrast not being set to normal. I adjusted the setting, and got back the stripes.
