Formatting a partitioned drive

I have a G4 Powermac dual 1.25 with a 160Gig drive which is partitioned into two. I'd like to reformat the drive as a single partition. I have booted from an OS X CD but can't find a way with Disk utilities to 'UN-partition' the drive(s).
Thanks

Click on the device (not the volume(s), which is/are listed below the device and is/are indented) in the left-hand sidebar of Disk Utility when you boot from the OS X Install CD, then click the "Partition" pane.

Select your partition scheme (1 partition, 2 partitions, etc.), and click "Apply."

This will destroy all data on the partitions and create a new, empty partition, requiring a reinstall of OS X. Be sure your data on the partitions is backed up.

Thanks for that. I confess to having a senior moment. There were actually two physical drives in the machine...a 100Gb and a 60Gb. I suppose I just couldn't believe they were so small.
