getting itunes and other files onto my new mac

how do i go about getting all my itunes , photos, and videos from my imac to my new MBP through my airport express...

I am not sure but you could use the /Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant.app and it might do that for you. The music for iTunes is kept at ~/Music/iTunes folder.

Migration Assistant Only works via Target Disk Mode, which requires a firewire cable. Thankfully, such a thing can be bought off the web for about $2.

You could simply network the two machines via File Sharing, then copy them over from one computer to the other.
