GMail Delete

I'm helping a friend delete over 100,000 emails from her Gmail @ google.com website. She has a MacBook Air 2015, OS 12.5.7.
On the website I can select 52 emails, select them and then hit the TRASH icon. Is there a way to select a lot more than 52 at once?
Her Mail app, is overwhelmed. I'm thinking that gmail loads in whatever we delete.

I find the same thing on my smart phone, using the Gmail setup into Mail there is no way it seems the is way to delete massive emails after no going to site in one week! It seems Google need better was to massive email deletion setup on a Mac/iOs plugins, even on their own web portal so I don’t have help right now!

enter "bulk gmail delete" into Goog.
Read the AI. It has to do with searching the webmail site. Cannot be done on a phone.
This is the most important part.
"Select all matching emails:
A message will appear above your emails, such as "All 50 conversations on this page are selected. Select all X conversations in [label/view]". Click the highlighted link to select all messages that match your current view or search. "

Hmm... with over 100,000 emails... is this what the OP has, deleting only items on "this page", with the possibility of at least some extra items being conversations, so perhaps will delete a few more individual emails that happen to be a part of those 50 conversations.
STILL appears to be a daunting task. But, maybe I am missing something that you noticed??
