Harmon Kardon Subwoofer issues

After recent upgrade to leopard 10.5.7 my subwoofer stopped working. is there a driver I am missing? how might I test to see what is happening? I can't seem to get the system to recognize the subwoofer at all. Tried unplugging, different USB hub, nothing works...no sound at subwoofer at all, not showing up in system preferences/sound either...used to.

Have you tried plugging the subwoofer directly into a USB port on the back of the computer, bypassing any hubs (including the hubs built-in to Mac monitors)?

Removing kernel extensions is hardly a good idea, but it may work for you. I'd try troubleshooting a bit more before going that route.

It seems that, officially, the iSub is not supported under Leopard.
