my macbook wont boot up in safe mode i get the message the volume notebook could not be verified completely exited with signal 8 fsck failed and cant get kextd port can anyone help me please? It may look like i know what i am talking about , but i don't .I just copied the words on the computer and i only type with two fingers and i dont have any discs to fix the problem. Thank you so much for any help you can give.

Hi, Thank you for helping me .How do i get an applejack ? I'm using a friend dell with windows, because i cant get out of the gray screen on the apple .This is very confusing
 
The Restore/Install DVD came originally with your Macbook - one of a set of two grey DVDs.
If yours is very new (less than a year old) then those disks might be white.
If you bought this MacBook used, and no disks were included, then you can get replacement sets at an Apple retail store for a nominal fee ($25, more or less) - or they can sell you a retail OS X install disk.
 
thank you this lap top was given to me and my kids [single-mom] it was bought on e-bay but came with nothing this is giving me a headache thank you again
 
Make the headache go away:
Your symptoms sound like a failing hard drive, or one that simply needs to be backed up and reformatted.
Another option is a good disk repair utility, such as Disk Warrior - which is about $100 USD.

How long have you had the MacBook? Can you contact the seller for any assistance? Any reasonable seller should provide reinstall/restore disks - as that's how it should be sold - unless you bought it, knowing that it did not come with licensed software. That's what you have now.
