iMac G5 Dual Display... capable?

Hi everybody!
Im thinking of buying a new iMac G5 17" SuperDrive.
The thing is that because of my line of work I would prefer to have 2 monitors instead of one. The two monitors should display different things, of course. I know it can mirror the desktop via dvi but that's not what I want.
Actually I can have my way by just hooking up a regular TV screen. The thing is: is there any way I can extend the iMac's desktop via its dvi output? is there any peripheral via USB or FW that will make this happen?
is there any way? or will I end up buying a bulky and more expensive PowerMac g5?

thanks everybody!

do you think this will PHISICALLY harm the machine?
I mean, everything that is software based can be repaired rather easily, reinstalling OS and such.
but will this little program (it's about 50kb large) fiddle fisically with the graphics card?
cause in that case i wouldn't try it.....

how about getting a PowerMac G5 with a single G5 processor? It will be little more expensive because you will have to get some monitors.....

It's a firmware hack. That means it changes stuff on the hardware. That is why it can damage your hardware, so don't use it if you're not willing to risk it.

Go to you local apple online Store and scroll down onto the Save button. You can find refurbished Dual 1.8 G5 for cheaper than a new top of the line iMac. The computers sold threw the Sale section have the same warranties the new Macs have.

can that firmware hack be reversed?
I mean if it did not harm the hardware when installed...

and no, i cannot get a Power Mac because I need the relative movility that the iMac permits
