Please forgive me if this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything on it here. How do I save image files from a web page to my imac. I can't right click my mouse, and I'm totally lost on this one. All my previous comps were pc's that ran a windows system.

Thanks in advance, Dale

You can either hold down the command key (the "Apple" key) and click on an image to bring up a contextual menu, or you can simply drag the image from the web page to the desktop (or folder of your choice).

I'm convinced that ElDiablo had a 'brain-freeze' there. The Apple (command) key won't give you a contextual menu. Use Control-click, instead.... :)

Oops... I spent hours debating whether it was command or control (I'm on a PC at the moment) and my freeze got the best of me.

Yes, control-click... that's the ticket.

I ended up dragging some pics to my desktop. As simple as that is, I never thought of it. Now I'll try the other method as the command button didn't work, lol! Thanks all!

Not to advertise shareware, but Sidetrack is a nice way to convert your track pad to a "clickable" mouse . . . even . . . gasp! . . . t3h D34dly Right Click!11!
