kernel, Iphone 4S and mounting problems

hello,

Just after plugging my IPhone 4S, I found this event in the console log :

12-02-16 4:25:58.000 PM kernel: 0******* 0 AppleUSBCDC: start - initDevice failed
*
My IPhone does not mount in ITunes.
Could this be the reason ?
If so, what can I do to fix this issue ?

Please try resetting your SMC, and your PRAM. It seems to be an issue with your USB connectors not starting properly.

Which model of Mac do you have?
