Macbook Pro 2010 i7 express card/34 slot question

My new 2010 Macbook Pro 2010 i7 17" has an express card/34 slot. I have been trying to get a CF card reader and have been finding confusing info. Is the card slot ati based, pci-e based or some other based.
I always click Thanks for correct or leading help.

It's neither -- it's an "expresscard" slot, so you probably want something similar to the items in this Google resultset:

You would want to search explicitly for "ExpressCard/34" and "CF reader" or "CF adapter" to find what you're looking for.
