Metallica caves into iTunes

I know a lot of you have short memories about the statements from Metallica about iTunes. Well as of today (in the US itunes store) they caved in and now are listed on iTunes.

Well, when your popularity dwindles over the years such as Metallica's has (except for here in San Antonio, where they still have God-like status), sometimes you have to bite the bullet and be absolute hypocrites.

I find it is funny that the band is not listed or touted on the front splash page in iTunes. One has to go searching for their catalog.

I want to download AC/DC too... the REAL AC/DC not some weird REMIXED stuff, that is embarrassing.

I had to look, and sure enough, it was as I had suspected.

AC/DC Rock. Metallica just seem to whinge, insult their fans and rehash their old songs, then blame everyone else but themselves when their sales are dwindling. (Ducks the inevitable flame war)

I like the "Kill Em All" and "Metallica" Albums - all
the other ones suck.
