What cause Netinfo Manager to start automatically on my Mac OS X 10.4 and how do I stop that?

Thanks in advance,

Jet

Go to System Preferences->Accounts and highlight your username. Then go to the Login Items and see if somehow in snuck in there.

Thank you. It is indeed in there (is that normal? as I did not put it in there and this just happens lately). Anyways, I clicked on the box to hide it now. Thanks, Jet

Clicking on the box to hide it does not stop it from opening at login -- it only causes it to launch, then hides it (much the same as if you hit apple-H in most programs -- they're still very much open, just hidden).

If you want to stop it from launching when you log in, highlight it in your Startup Items, and click the minus sign button below the list.
