Overun Buffer Error

I have been struggling with cd burning on a G4 Powerbook. The drive was replaced by Apple recently and I am still having problems. I just installed Panther and still get an Overun Buffer Error when trying to burn CD's from any application or from the finder. Any ideas?
 
What speed are you trying to burn the CDs at? A buffer overrun error is when you choose a writing speed that's too fast, and the application can't read the information fast enough to write it to the CD.

I would try to burn CDs at a slower speed -- you can change this in iTunes in the Preferences... for the Finder, I don't know about that -- do you have Toast?
