Problems installing Classic

I bought Tiger yesterday and installed it no problems, I bought a boxed retail version which has only has one disc with has Xtools on, I have looked on the disc for 'Additional Software' as suggested on the Apple support site but the only additional options on the disc are for extra languages, printer drivers, and no Classic?

Help guys :(

I think os9 only comes with selected hardware sales - our G5 included it, installed, and my PowrBook did not.

Odd that I can't find it on store.apple.com... Maybe something has changed recently.

My Powermac was second hand and didn't come with OS discs thus me spending £90 on the retail boxed version of Tiger :(

As stated, OS 9 only came with OS X 10.0. The 10.1 upgrade, Jaguar, Panther and Tiger did/do not come with OS 9, so you're stuck finding your own copy of OS 9 for Classic support.

If your computer can boot OS 9.1 (meaning it doesn't need a "special" or later version of 9), you can get OS 9.1 for around $35:

Doh, thanks for clearing that up guy, at least I know I have to aquire OS9 seperatly now :(

Thanks again.
