protect from dust

Are there any special cases, in order to be able to protect my 27" iMac, keyboard (small) and mighty mouse from dust?

No offense, but changing your furnace filters more often will help tremendously.

You could, however, throw a cloth over it all while not in use.

i was thinking that there could be some products for this issue, something nice and designish to cover up my iMac and not some cloth

If you are wanting to store your iMac, the original box will do that very nicely.

Or, why not make your own?
You did ask about protection from dust, and a cloth slipcover will do that very well, and would be quite simple to make.
Don't dis the cloth solution until you have looked through the enormous variety in materials and designs available at a large fabric store.

I would be very weary of putting any kind of cover over the iMac if you intend to leave the iMac powered on.

Too much of a risk of cutting off airflow to the computer and overheating it.

I would recommend simply running a Swiffer over the iMac once a week or so, unless you live in an extremely dusty environment.

Thanx guys, im not ooking for something to store the iMac, but my iMac is in a dusty environment and when its turned off i want to cover it with something "designish" so thats its protected. Of course it will not be powered on when covered, iam aware of airflow issues and overheating, so dont worry about that, i was just looking for something out there in the market that could work for my purpose, i mean ive seen covers for laptop keyboards, thats what made me think of a cover for my iMac.

thanx looks interesting, it be great if it could cover the whole aluminum case and the keyboard/mouse stored under the iMac
