Good Morning
In attempting to speed up Safari I followed the path applications/utilities to locate that file . Where in the blazes did it go??? I usually do it at least once per month .
Can someone give me the correct path?

You are looking for the Disk Utility which should be in the Utilities folder then just go to disk first aid and repair away....... :)

Find it !
Go to your Utilities folder (so the Finder is Active - should have the word Finder next to the Apple menu) Then type CMD-F, and type Disk Utility in the 'name contains' blank, press enter, and wait for the results. If Disk Utility exists, the results will tell you where it is now.

Well, Delta Mac , No Joy here on that attempt . I guess my other solution would be to load the Installation Disc /Restart/Disk Repair/First Aid .What are your feelings on that move????

you can copy the Disk Utility from the OS X install CD to the location you like, or reboot to the CD and run Disk utility from there.

What else is missing (a question for the ages! - how do you know when a file or app is gone, or just moved?)

I think you should click here. Hurry, before the server deletes the file or something! Okay, ignore this part... the server deleted the file. Email me and I'll send it to you.

For some reason I was unable to upload this file as an attachment. Netscape said it couldn't process that kind of post or it exceeds capacity (which it does not, only 1.1 MB), and IE just failed to load the attachment page. Curious...
