Restore MS Office

Well you have to worry about the preference file to start with because that has your license and your settings. The first question I have to ask you are you running lion or Snow Lepord?
 
Then find the Preference file and move it to /YourHardDrive/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and make sure you put those Preference files back.

No it's been a long time time sense I used a MS Office suite so I am not sure where to put the MS Data file. Hopefully others here might have MS office installed and can find where the other files are located, sorry.

The Office installer knows where to put all those files - so, best suggestion is to reinstall Office from the original Office installer disk.
